WARRANTY

Matco Handrails provides a 12 month Warranty for its goods as described below.

Matco Handrails guarantees its products against faulty workmanship or defective products, and will supply replacement product provided the product has not been misused, abused or altered, or used for a purpose for which it was not designed.
Where the goods we supply are of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption, and there is a 'major' failure of the goods or services to meet any consumer guarantee under The Australian Consumer Law, then you may choose one of the
following remedies:
(A) ask for a refund;
(B) return the goods and ask for an identical replacement, or one of similar value if reasonably available; or
(C) keep the goods and ask for compensation for the drop in value caused by the problem.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Where the goods are supplied to you for re-sale or to be incorporated into manufactured goods, and a warranty claim is not covered by the above consumer guarantee provisions, then our liability is limited to, at our discretion, either:
(i) replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent goods; (ii) payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods; (iii) repair of the goods; or (iv) payment of the cost of having the goods repaired.

Any claim under this Warranty must be made within 12 (twelve) months of the date of purchase of the product. To make a claim under this Warranty, please contact Matco Handrails directly and provide us with details of the product, date of purchase, invoice number and details of the product defect including appropriate photographic evidence of the product in situ.
